Ego.

Okay, first issue on the agenda today: Team mates.

I've had plenty of team mates before and, you know what? It doesn't matter who it is I'm working with (usually) because, at the end of the day, team mates are number one. Win, lose, draw, fall, whatever, team mates are my number one priority because, to me, you can't get anywhere if the person you're working with is unhappy.

I mean, you can be the best, smartest, most experienced person in the world with advocacy skills to make the top 20 in an international-based moot competition (THERE I SAID IT), but you aren't gonna go anywhere if your team mate doesn't respect you.

Basically, what I'm saying is: respect people. Give credit where credit is due.

We aren't employees to one employer, we're equals: TEAM MATES.

And that's why I made this blog. That's why I'm not ashamed to go around parading the fact that I care for my team mates; that a team should work together; and that a leader should assist his team to cross the finishing line, not abuse them and belittle their intelligence.

Everyone has potential; I believe in that.

Some people are faster, some slower, but we all have something to offer; why else would we be here?

At the end of the day, I guess what I'm trying to put forth is that, senior, junior, whoever you are, you're here for a reason, aren't you?

We all have egos, respect that.
